IMAGINE is the brainchild of Mark Riva, a multifaceted developer-designer-producer-promoter of innovative cultural programming blending the arts, education, and entertainment including cause-related campaigns, conferences, symposiums, salons, multimedia events, conceptual environments, exhibitions, and theme parties.
In diverse roles as artist, writer, researcher, designer, speaker, presenter, promoter, producer, publisher, and program developer, Riva has worked with many renowned artists, authors, educators, and scientists such as Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Philip Zimbardo, D. Paul Schafer, Ken Wilber, Alex Grey, Kirk J. Schneider, among others.
Riva has made speaking presentations on the subjects of art and music, creativity and imagination, flow theory and cyber-psychology, and personal development and human potential, for groups and events such as Motorola, Aurora University, University of Advancing Computer Technology, Palm Springs International Film Fest, World Future Society, Medicine Meets Virtual Reality, and New York Music & Internet Expo.

Proposals and Awards:
The Imaginarium: Museum of the Creative Imagination bid to win the MacArthur Foundation’s 100&Change competition to solve a critical problem of our time which called for an immersive edutainment experience inspiring people to better understand the world and its challenges and to become creative change-makers proactively finding new solutions.
Art City L.A.: Cultural Arts program for the My LA2050 Grant Challenge to make L.A. the best place to learn, create, play, connect, and live culminating in the Art City L.A. Showcase featuring 25 speakers from across L.A.’s landscape of the arts, creativity and culture as part of the first Los Angeles Innovation Week.
