Imagine all the people…
IMAGINE

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us, only sky
Imagine all the people
Livin’ for today
Ah
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Livin’ life in peace
YouYou may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

Imagine | Song Around The World by Playing For Change
Playing For Change is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music which has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The Playing For Change crew has traveled the world recording and filming musicians, creating Songs Around the World which unites many of the greatest musicians they’ve met to form the Playing For Change Band. These musicians come from many different countries and cultures, but through music they speak the same language.
In the beginning of 2010 the Playing For Change crew began work on John Lennon’s “Imagine”, going from the favelas of Brazil to the shrines of southern India, from villages in Nepal to the glittering urban landscape of Tokyo and New York, and beyond. This song is the Playing For Change Foundation’s gift to the world, who is honored to have the blessing and generous support of Yoko Ono as music lovers around the world join together to launch the Power to the People campaign which seeks to advance John Lennon’s vision of peace by engaging artists and audiences to contribute to music education programs worldwide.
