Irina Mikhailova
As a musician, imagination gives me the ability to dream out loud, an inspiring interaction with art which leads to a liberation of the mind and body, allowing limitless dance of the spirit.
As a holistic healer, imagination helps to rewire physical reaction to life’s challenges. Our visual, auditory, and kinesthetic senses are all engaged, ready to re-program old conditioning. Imagination feeds neuroplasticity of the brain’s ability to modify, change the response to experience of pain, stress and therefore contribute to our well-being, no matter the age.
The brain has an amazing ability to heal itself. Feels like utopia but imagination healed generations of humanity. What is possible then? We have all heard that hurt people hurt others because they themselves have been hurt. So, when imagination helps us to shift our attention from trauma and limiting thoughts, what is possible then? A Wholesome healing to the body, mind, soul, and most of all, OUR PLANET!
Imagination is ancient and works as a problem solver. We can connect with what’s true. We can check in on how we’re holding difficult emotions. We can practice self-care. All of this combined allows us to cultivate compassion and resilience, so when an opportunity to show up and act arises, we can meet the moment with skill.
Freedom of Dreams by Irina Mikhailova
I’ll choose for myself an island which isn’t dark and grey.
I’ll choose for myself a tall forest not known sharp thin blades.
Flock of free birds flying, not knowing the stormy skies.
I’ll choose an animal wild, free of the hunter’s eyes.
