Congratulations Maestro Ponty!
After hearing Enigmatic Ocean in 1977 on an adult contemporary radio in Cincinnati, Ohio, I bought my 1st JLP vinyl LP. I couldn’t drive due to poor vision. Your music was on my imaginary drives in my mind. Now fast-forward through time and 24 JLP CDs later, I met you in person before a concert in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 13, 1991. You signed an ARP synthesizer catalog in gold acrylic marker (still have it). Today I’m 62 years young, just bought a 2020 Honda CR-V (I got my driver’s license at 42 years old), married for 37 years, and driving on real expressways with your music on my iPhone playlist as my soundtrack. I have been working as a technology instructor for the blind and visually impaired going on 20 years and assisting with Suzanne Ciani on web sales. Thank you for accompanying my “driven” passion on helping others. May your music outlast all of us.

I have loved Mr. Ponty’s music for such a long time. I own most of his albums. I have always wanted to see him live in concert but I guess he didn’t do a lot of touring in the United States. Such an immense talent! Thank you Mr. Ponty for sharing your wonderful music with the world. You are one of my all time favorite musicians.

The Beatles touched my heart, The Alan Parsons Project touched my mind, and Jean-Luc Ponty touches my soul. Thank you, Jean-Luc, for making my life so much better.
